Those bright lines under the strings are just reflections.
With equal-length screws, a bit nicer than shown in earlier photo "sg-2".
Washers that aren't rusty would be nice!

In case you wonder, yes that is a knot in my high E string.
I think it broke shortly after putting the new strings on, supporting the nut-binding theory, come to think of it.
